Affirmative Action Advisory Committee

The Affirmative Action Advisory Committee (AAAC) assists and advises the President and Vice President of Institutional Diversity and Equity in the implementation of the college’s affirmative action policies and programs, serves in other capacities related to affirmative action as requested by the President, reviews periodically the provisions and impact of the College’s affirmative action program including employment goals and timetables, procedures followed, and results achieved; and proposes appropriate changes to the President. The President, in consultation with the Vice President, appoints the committee comprised of faculty and staff. The AAAC is typically chaired by the Associate Dean. The AAAC recently worked on a preferred name policy and revising the college’s non-discrimination policy.
